A virtuous ancestor of Lancelot and Galahad, descended from Joseph of Arimathea. His father was named Isaiah, and his son, Lancelot de la Blance Terre, was Sir Lancelot of the Lake’s grandfather.

He was a noble and valiant king. He married the daughter of King Maronel of Gaul, inherited the kingdom, and established his posterity in France.
