Count del Parc

Count del Park

He inhabited a castle three leagues from the giant Tericam of the Impenetrable Forest (Turquine) on Terican’s Hill (Turquine’s Hill).

After Lancelot killed Turquine, the Count del Parc visited the tower and gave each former prisoner a horse. Arthur’s knights returned his generosity by giving him Turquine’s property.

Notes
The Welsh word parc, from the Norman-French, means an inclosure, like a cae, a piece of land enclosed with hedges. Parth, from the same root, means a divison of land. Parthau Cymru means ‘Divisions of Wales’.
