Fleeing Arthur’s court for Joyous GuardLancelot and Guenevere lodged at Caleque for one night. Count Dangis, a friend of Lancelot, promised to support Lancelot in his struggle against Arthur, and he placed Caleque at Lancelot’s disposal.
