Angis

Angys

When Lancelot left court because of Guenevere’s anger over the Elaine of Astolat incident, Angis was his squire and only companion.

Malory does not mention Lancelot’s return to court between the tournament of Winchester and his last interview with Elaine. The Vulgate says it was a very brief return; its very brevity convinced Arthur that Morgan’s accusation of Lancelot and Guenevere’s guilt was false.
