Salie

The castle inhabited by Igerne (Igraine), Morcades (Morgause), and Klarisanz (Clarissant) in Henrich von dem Türlin’s Diu Crône. It was built in the land of Madarp by Gansguoter – Igraine’s husband after Uther – through magical means.

Gawain was reunited with his grandmother, mother, and sister when he visited the castle and survived the adventure of the Perilous Bed.

Chrétien de Troyes called the same castle Canguin Rock, while Wolfram called it Castle of Marvels.
