Euric

Sometimes called Euric II
Evaric, Eurico
Born: c. 420
Dead: December 28, 484

Son of Theodoric I. Euric killed his brother Theodoric II and became king of the Visigoths at AD 466, until his (natural) death in 484.

He had his capital at Toulouse and after several civil wars, where he defeated other Visigothic kings, he unified the Visigothic nation.

In Arthurian literature he was opposed by the Emperor Anthemius who counted Riothamus amongst his allies.
