At Joseph's advice, Duke Ganor, who then held the castle, erected there the Tower of Marvels, where no knight of Arthur's would fail to find a jouster as good as himself. The duke also began a church of the Holy Virgin at Galafort.

If Joseph came directly here from the Continent, Galafort would probably bee somewhere in the souteast. If he went to Sarras first, and if my identification of Sarras as the Isle of Man is accepted, Galafort would probably be somewhere on the northwest coast.
