Dragon Colors


Black Dragons
The black dragon can be found in swamp land and sometimes in caves. When confronted the black dragon will attack with it's front claws and bite. It also can breath acid about six feet from itself. The older dragons can use up to eight spells of the first level. Black dragons are Chaotic evil and are about 30 feet long.


Blue Dragons
Blue dragons can be found within desert lands. They almost always have a deep cave for a lair. When attacking the blue dragon uses its claws and bite like the black as well as being able to discharge a bolt of electricity. Besides their attacks the older dragons are able to use third level spells. Spells known are determined randomly.


Copper and Brass Dragons
Copper dragons like to live in arid regions because they like warmer climates to place their lairs. Though generally good they tend to be selfish when it comes to their treasure. They may tend to be more neural if gain is involved.

When in battle the dragon has the claw/bite attack as well as either breathing acid or a cloud of gas that slow all creatures down so they attack at half normal speed unless they make a saving throw verses dragon breath. Copper dragons are able to use spells up to the third level depending on age.

Brass dragons prefer to dwell in sandy deserts whose cave like lairs are often found. They are basically good and like to converse with any friendly adventures that cross their path. Though selfish where treasure is concerned, overall they are good and noble dragons. They attack by employing the following, claw/bite, and a breath weapon of either sleep or fear gas. They can also use up to second level spells depending on age.


Gold Dragons
Gold dragons can be found living anywhere. They make their lairs within caves or castles. They use precious metals as a food source but these dragons are lawful good. They are able to shapeshift into almost any form. Often when encountered the dragons will be in some other form other than dragon. When in their true forms they battle with the normal claw/bite and breath weapon. Gold dragons are able to either breath fire or a cloud of chorine gas.

Gold dragons tend to be more magical then other dragon breeds. They are able to use spells up to the sixth level and will often have regular spell book of their own.

Gold dragons are often willing to help good characters on an adventure. They will sometimes even join a battle if the characters are fighting against some great evil. They are noble and wise and often like traveling the world of men in another form.


Green Dragons
Green dragons tend to choose cave lairs near woodlands and forests. They have very nasty tempers and enjoy being evil and sadistic.

They have the basic claw/bite attacks like all other dragons. They also are able to breath a cloud of poisonous chlorine gas about 5 feet long, 4 feet in width, and 3 feet in height.

Green dragons of advanced age are able to use spells up to second level.


Red Dragons
The red dragon can be found in mountainous regions. They prefer to make their lairs in caves and other underground places. Of all the evil dragons the red dragon is the worst save for maybe Tiamat.

The attacks of a red dragon are the basic claws and bite as well as fire. The range of the fire is about nine feet. As with many older dragons the reds are sometimes able to use magic. The ancient ones can use up to the fourth level in spells.

Red dragons are one of the larger dragon breeds. An average red dragon can be around 48 feet from head to tail. Their intelligence is exceptional making them dangerous to fool around with.


Silver Dragons
Silver dragons tend to choose out of the way areas such as a mountain peaks or clouds in which to build their lairs. Like the gold dragons they are able to change shape into a human or animal. As well as the basic dragon attacks, silver dragons are able to breathe a blast of cold or a cloud of paralyzing gas. Silver dragons are able to use spells up to the fourth level and about a fourth of them have spell books. They are often willing to aid good adventurers if the need is great.


White Dragons
White dragons like to dwell in cold regions. They tend to make their lairs in subterranean places. The white dragon is not as intelligent as other dragons but is never less as evil and greedy as any other. They will attack using the claws/bite or by breathing a cone of intense cold about seven feet long.

Magic use among the white dragons is rare. those able to use magic are able to use four first level spells.
