Acarive

A lady from Lyonesse who figures into Tristan’s ancestry.

Acarive’s daughter committed adultery and was executed on the advice of Queen Gloriande of Lyonesse. In revenge, Acarive tried to frame Gloriande for adultery, forging a letter which suggested that Gloriande was having an affair with a knight named Amanz (probably Aamanz).

King Apollo of Lyonesse, Gloriande’s husband and Tristan’s ancestor, saw through the ploy and executed Acarive.
