Born c. 495; dead 524
Son of Clovis I, King of the Franks. Upon his father’s death in 511, the kingdom of the Franks were divided between the four brothers: Theuderic I, Chlodomer, Childebert I, and Chlothar I. Chlodomer married Guntheuc and they had three sons: Theodebald, Gunthar, and Clodoald (later known as Saint Cloud).
According to the eccentric R.W. Morgan (Hisory of Britain), this King of Orleans, France, (reigned AD 511-524) died fighting against Arthur.
Actually, he perished in battle fighting against the Burgundians at the battle of Vézeronce.
