Some Arthurian reference works identify Aaron as an ally of Thereus, one of Arthur’s enemies. However, the exact source for this connection has not yet been identified.
It is possible that Aaron’s story has become confused with that of another Armenian ruler appearing in Arthurian romance. Further research into the original texts is needed to determine whether Aaron and the ally of Thereus are indeed the same character.
