Introduction#
Abelleus was a knight who stole a white brachet from Arthur’s court. His theft became the target of the first quest undertaken by Tor, son of King Pellinore.

The Quest#
Tor le Fise Aries, son of King Pellinore, tracked Abelleus down and recovered the hound. Having previously promised the brachet’s owner that he would return with the thief’s head, Tor reluctantly fulfilled his oath by beheading Abelleus.
The episode serves as an early test of Tor’s knightly abilities and his commitment to keeping his word.
