Morgan le Fay’s Residence#
In Erec et Enide, the vale is identified as the dwelling place of Morgan le Fay. Arthur’s half-sister and one of the most powerful enchantresses of Arthurian romance.
Its association with Morgan suggests a place removed from ordinary human society, where magic and hidden knowledge prevail.
The Enchanted Valley Tradition#
