Nightbringer is a reference encyclopedia exploring legendary, historical, and mythological traditions through literature, history, and cultural symbolism.
The site is continuously evolving. Content is currently being expanded and restructured into a more comprehensive encyclopedia format, where established knowledge is combined with ongoing research and deeper analysis. At the same time, the search functionality is being reviewed to improve navigation and accessibility.
The visual presentation is also being refined. While some entries have experimented with custom imagery, the project is returning to a more cohesive approach using general imagery to maintain a consistent tone throughout the encyclopedia.

Sir Cligés was a Knight of the Round Table who appears in several Arthurian romances. Although he shares his name with Chrétien's Cligés, the two are generally regarded as separate characters.
The unnamed Emperor of Germany who arranged the marriage of his daughter Fenice to Alis, Emperor of Greece and Constantinople.
The daughter of the Emperor of Germany, wife of Alis, and beloved of Cligés. She is one of the central heroines of Chrétien de Troyes' Cligés.
The younger son of Emperor Alexander and Tantalis, who became Emperor of Greece and Constantinople after his brother was mistakenly believed dead.
