Nightbringer is a reference encyclopedia exploring legendary, historical, and mythological traditions through literature, history, and cultural symbolism.
The site is continuously evolving. Content is currently being expanded and restructured into a more comprehensive encyclopedia format, where established knowledge is combined with ongoing research and deeper analysis. At the same time, the search functionality is being reviewed to improve navigation and accessibility.
The visual presentation is also being refined. While some entries have experimented with custom imagery, the project is returning to a more cohesive approach using general imagery to maintain a consistent tone throughout the encyclopedia.

King Arthur was a British war leader in the late 5th and early 6th centuries. Over time, legend transformed him into a great king, the ruler of Camelot, and the seeker of the Holy Grail. His story has inspired centuries of poetry, romance, and cultural imagination, making him one of the most enduring figures of Western legend.
Percivale of Wales is the knight most closely linked to the Quest for the Holy Grail. First portrayed as a naïve youth raised in the wild, he grows into a figure of faith and perseverance, achieving the vision of the Grail alongside Galahad and Bors.
Alain le Gros (or Alain the Large) was remembered in Arthurian tradition as father of Percivale and the third Grail keeper at Carbonek.
Joseph of Arimathea is remembered in Arthurian tradition as the first keeper of the Holy Grail. A figure rooted in the Gospels, he bridges biblical history and medieval legend, carrying the relic of Christ’s Passion into the lineage that would one day lead to the Grail quest of Arthur’s knights.
