Ceredigion
A county in mid-west Wales. The area that now comprises Ceredigion has a long and storied history dating back to prehistoric times.
It was once part of the ancient Welsh kingdom of Ceredigion, which played a significant role in early Welsh history. Ceredigion boasts several historical and archaeological sites, including castles, ancient hillforts, and prehistoric remains.
Arthur’s warriors pursued a piglet named Grugyn during the epic hunt of the boar Twrch Trwyth in this area, according to Culhwch and Olwen.
Elffin (Elphin), son of Gwyddno Garanhir, became a king of Ceredigion.
