Candaces

Gandaries, Kandiges

Tristan's (Tristram) great-great-grandfather. He was the son of King Apollo of Lyoness and Gloriande.

His father was murdered by the son of the King of Cornwall, who took Candaces in and raised him as his own. When he came of age, he married the king’s daughter, Cressille, and became heir to Cornwall and Lyoness.

He had twelve sons, including Crissidés and Baralis, who became the kings of Cornwall and Lyoness, respectively.
