Greidawl Enemy-Subduer

Greidawl Galldonyd, Greidyawl

One of Arthurís warriors and advisors in Welsh legend. He was the son of Enfael Adrann and the father of Gwythyr mab Greidawl.

He is one of the Three Enemy Subduers of the Island of Britain.

A Welsh Triad tells us that his granddaughter, Gwenhwyfar, was one of Arthurís three queens bearing that name.

'Greidawl' may signify 'passionate'.
