An Italian writer who was certainly flourishing in 1298. Best known for having written down Marco Polo's autobiography, The Travels of Marco Polo at the latter's dictation in Genoa where they were in prison together. He also produced a less well known Compilation (Roman de Roi Artus, 'Romance of King Arthur') of Arthurian romances.
