Straight Marches

These would seem to be either the marches between Wales and Logres or those between Logres and Scotland.

A nice cordon might be made of Staffordshire, Worchestershire, and Herefordshire or a part thereof, between the sub-kingdoms immediately east of Wales and the sub-kingdoms of Arroy (Warwickshire) and Leicester.
