Baobhan Sith

White Women of the Scottish Highlands

The Baobhan Sith is an evil Scottish fairie who appear as a beatiful young woman, wearing a white or green dress. They prey on unwary travelers, luring them to secluded areas and invite the men to dance, until the men are exhausted. When the victims are off guard, they attack, using their talons in the mens' necks and sucks the blood like a vampire.

It is said the Baobhan Sith can be killed by cold iron and they fear horses.
