Min Min Lights

A phenomenon of the Min Min region of Queensland, Australia. Midnight travellers across the plains are often followed or accompanied by a large flickering luminescence which appears suddenly, stays for varying periods, and disappears as abruptly as it came. Some travellers have described the Min Min as no more than a glowing amorphous light, while others claim that it assumes the shape of a horse or man.

Modern travellers often confuse it with the lights of an approaching vehicle and take violent evasive action. Many people have been badly frightened by the Min Min Light although it does not seem to have harmed anyone so far.
