Carn

  1. Carn Arthur

Situated in the Preseli Hills, Dyfed, below Bedd Arthur, is Carn Arthur, which has a stone perced precariously on its top. It was allegedly thrown by Arthur from Dyffryn, or from Henry's Moat, which lies about five miles distant.

  2. Carn Cabal
    Cairn Cabal

A large heap of stones near the hill Carngafallt, Powys, one of which is supposed to bear the impression of a hound's foot. This hound, so legend says, was owned by King Arthur and was called Cabal.

Arthur himself is said to have gathered togheter this heap of stones, placing the magic stone with the paw print on the top. Anyone who takes this stone away cannot keep it, for it will always return itself to the pile.

  3. Carn Gwylathyr

An English mountain that contained the 'five peaks' region, or Pumlumon, where Arthur’s warriors Cei and Bedwyr slew Dillus the Bearded.
