Cornix

Cornix was one of the noble Byzantine warriors that Alexander brought to Britain from Constantinople, and Arthur knighted them all. Chrétien de Troyes singles Cornix out as being very dear to Alexander - perhaps his favorite?

Nevertheless, he was not among those with Alexander's party when he penetrated Windsor to end Count Angrs' rebellion. Cornix survived that rebellion, but Chrétien tells us nothing more about him.
