Guendolen

The half-Djinn queen of a magic castle visited by Arthur in Sir Walter Scott’s The Bridal of Triermain.

Arthur fell in love with Guendolen and stayed with her for three months. Before returning to his own lands, he promised Guendolen that should a daughter come of their union, Arthur would wed her to his best knight. Guendolen later gave birth to Gyneth.
