A knight who, at the inisistance of a lady, swore to slay any knight who passed his castle. He was conquered by Floriant, the foster-son of Morgan le Fay, and became Floriant’s companion.
The two knights helped to save Rome from a siege by Saracens. Afterwards, Julian visited Arthur’s court and became a Knight of the Round Table.
