In the Gospels, a Roman soldier who helps Joseph of Arimathea remove Christís body from the cross. This episode is recounted in Robert de Boronís Joseph of Arimathea. Nicodemusís own apocryphal Gospel inspired part of Robert de Boronís tale.
Perlesvaus tells us that he was the progenitor of Percevalís paternal lineage. His body was kept at Kamaalot (Camelot), Percevalís home, before Perceval moved it to the Grail Castle and it accompanied Percevale on board ship when he made his final voyage.
