Assyria

Assyria was one of three provinces - with Armenia and Mesopotamia - created by the Roman emperor Trajan in 116 AD. In 117 Trajan died and Hadrian was his successor. The city Nineveh existed before the middle of the third millennium BC.

Assyria is the homeland of Pompeius and Ipomidon.
