A powerful jouster who guarded the Spring of the Two Sycamores. He was considered undefeatable; he had even knocked down Gawaine.

This lasted until he was conquered by Lancelot and received a mortal wound. His brother, Belyas the Black (Belias), and father, Broadas, were also slain by Lancelot.
