Son of King Aguiflet of Scotland (Angusel), brother of Cuoi (Coi), and a powerful and feared knight. Cadret and Coi accompanied their father to Arthur's court for Erec and Enide's wedding.

He is mentioned in Chrétien’s Erec, and his counterpart in Hartmann’s Erec is Goasilroet.
