The first baby to be born to Arianrhod as she undertook the rite to attest her virginity after she had been put up for a maiden's post at the court of Math fab Mathonwy. A golden-haired boy, he was immediately named Dylan.

The literal translation of Dylan Eil Ton is 'Dylan Son of the Wave'.
