Glyn Arthur
Literally 'Arthur's Glen', situated near Moel Arthur.
Glyn, implies a vale narrower but deeper than a dyffryn, through which a water flows, in Welsh. It precedes the name of a river that flows through a vale; such as Glyn Dyfrdwy. The root also gives us the Gaelic gleann, and the Anglo-Saxon glen, where both of them means a small valley.
