The modern place name of Lothian (West, Mid, and East) in Scotland is just south of the Antonine Wall.
King Lot, or Loth, of Lothian and Orkney apparently was king of all northern Scotland from the Orkneys to at least some of the area south of the Antonine Wall. Lot may have been High King of Scotland, with sub-kings under him, before Arthur's advent.
