   A knight from the Black Castle.

   In the forest of Sapinoie (Sapine), Margondre encountered Lancelot and told him that Guinevere was an adulteress. Lancelot took exception to this insult, defeated Margondre in combat, and made him to go Camelot to apologize to Guinevere for slandering her name.

   Later, Margondre participated in the Grail Quest.
