The lord of the Castel de La Blanche Espine, where Knights of the Round Table were reviled.

Lancelot, Bors, Gaheris, and Bagdemagus visited the castle, and found its knights mistreating Mordred. After a long battle against scores of knights, Lancelot killed Matain.
