Meirchyawn

Meirchiaun, Merchiaun, Meirchion

An early King of Glamorgan, and the father of Mark of Glamorgan.

His son may have been the original for King Mark of Cornwall, or the association may simply be one of confusion, which seems highly likely. He may have been a brother of Eigyr (Igraine) or Uther.
