A post-Roman kingdom in Wales, part of Powys.

Rulers in the Arthurian period would have been (dates approximate) Marianus (490), Catgualart (510) and Gwrm (530).

According to The Place-names in Wales (1912), the kingdom of Powys included the counties of Merioneth, and Montgomery.
