A knight from Tartare encountered by Bors, Hector, and Lionel near a cross, during their quest to find Lancelot. Bors asked Mellic to bear news of the quest to King Arthur at Camelot.

Mellic became one of Arthur’s knights, and he joined Mordred and Agravain in their plot to catch Lancelot and Guinevere in flagrante. Lancelot killed him.
