Ronwen

Hrothwina, Renwein

Daughter of the Saxon leader Hengist and sister to Hartwaker, Aesc, Octa, Ebissa and Sardoine.

She married Vortigern, the county of Kent being given to her father as the bride price.

Her name appears originally to have been Hrothwina in Anglo-Saxon, Ronwen being the Latinisation of that name.
