Selyses

Nephew of the King of the Hundred Knights, and "a good man of arms", Sir Selises fought in the Lonazep (Leverzep) tournament.

He may be identified with the Sir Selises of the Dolorous Tower whom Malory lists among the Round Table knights that tried to heal Sir Urre and who followed Lancelot into exile and was made Earl of Masauke (Marsan).

The connection of Selises with the Dolorous Tower is not explained. In the Vulgate, Sir Carados' Dolorous Tower was given to Sir Melians li Gai (Melian the Gay).
