Leodegar

Laeyer, Leger, Leir of Boulogne, Lier, Ligier

Earl of Boulogne or Burgundy, or both, under Arthur.

He assisted Arthur in the war against Rome. At the battle of Soissons, he killed the Babylonian king Micipsa, and was killed either by Micipsa or by Micipsa’s son, Gecron. Arthur had him buried in Boulogne.

He may be identical with Leodegan (Leodegrance), Guenevere’s father in French romance.
