Amire of Libya

The King of Libya.

His wife, Liamere, was coveted by King Lion of Namur, and Lion killed Amire in a joust. Liamere soon died from sorrow.

Amire had been scheduled to attend the wedding of Wigalois, so when Wigalois learned of Amire’s murder, he gathered his knights, waged war on Lion, and avenged Amire by slaying the King of Namur.
