Gwri Golden Hair

Gware Gwallt Euryn

The name given to the child born to Pwyll and Rhiannon after it had mysteriously disappeared one night from its crib.

Teyrnon Twryf Liant (Teirnon Twrfliant) took the child in and treated him as his own. A year later, learning of the loss of the child and because of the child’s uncanny likeness to Pwyll, Teyrnon Twryf Liant concluded that the boy must be none other than the lost child of Pwyll and Rhiannon. He took the child back to his parents, who subsequently named him Pryderi.

It is thought that this legendary Welsh character is the origin of Bors.
