Landuit
Father of Dame Laudine, Yvain’s wife, in Chrétien’s Yvain. The Middle-English Ywain and Gawain, he is called the Duke of Landuit.
Chrétien’s version may refer to Lothian in Scotland and also tells us that a lay was sung of Duke Laudunet; it apparently has not survived.
