Descended from Greek peasants, Canan struggled to build a kingdom through his prowess. Eventually, he was crowned king of Saloliqui and had two children: Lac (Erec’s father) and Dirac.
He was poisoned by his own aides, and his young sons were carried to Britain by their tutor.
