An illegitimate son of King Urien, half-brother of Yvain, and brother of Yvain the Bastard.
He fought bravely for Arthur in Arthur’s wars against the Saxons and against Lord Galehaut.
Sommer says he is the seneschal of Galeholt, the son of the Beautiful Giantess. He is the brother of Ywain de Bast and a knight of the king of the Lontaignes Illes (Distant Isles).
