Gohenbert


A count of Germany who brought his army to Arthur’s court, intending to subjugate the king.

In the king’s household, Gohenbert played a game of chess against Guenevere that turned into a fight. Lancelot killed him. Gohenbert’s warriors rose up and attacked Arthur’s knights. Arthur’s forces prevailed but suffered many losses.
