Gonosor of Ireland

King of Ireland converted by Joseph of Arimathea. His daughters, Gloriande and Joene, married the kings of Lyonesse and Cornwall.

In exchange for Gonosor’s assistance in the war against Lyonesse, King Canor of Cornwall agreed to pay an annual tribute to Ireland. Generations later, Tristan freed Cornwall of this tribute by killing Morholt.
