Brito
Hero of Anthony Pucci’s Bruto di Brettagna, derived from an episode in Andreas Capellanus’s De Amore.
To win the love of a lady, Brito had to retrieve a hawk, two brachets (small hounds), and a scroll with the “rules of love” from Arthur’s court.
After solving several related quests, he fought a duel at Arthur’s court for the objects, winning because his lady was the most beautiful.
