Cadiolant of Ireland

Cadioalant, Cadoalant, Cadoalens

Chrétien names this king of Ireland as a very valiant and wise ally who served Arthur. He was present at Arthur’s court in Cardigan, as well as present at the coronation of Erec, going with three others to escort Enide to the hall.

He fought at one of the Castle of Maidens tournaments and opposed King Ris in another tournament.
